Stackenta can. We help you work out what business fits you by looking at what you already have: your skills, the people you know, the problems you’ve watched others have, and the life you want. Then we help you test it, plan your first customers, and build the systems and AI that run the routine work. Micah has talked business ideas through with people for years, and Isaac builds the AI.
Where do good business ideas come from?
Rarely from a list. In our experience the ideas that work come from one of four places:
- What you already know how to do. A skill, a trade or a field you have worked in.
- Who you know. People who already trust you, or a group you belong to.
- Problems you have watched other people have. Especially the ones that keep coming up.
- What you want your days to look like. The hours, the freedom, the people you want to work with.
A business that ignores the last one can work on paper and still be one you dislike running.
How do we help you choose?
We ask questions before we suggest anything. What do you do well? What have you noticed that nobody fixes? What do you want to stop doing? What would a great year look like? Then we look for where those answers overlap, and for what you already have that you haven’t used. In one example, a software founder with a free app had thousands of users he had never reached. The idea came from looking at what he already had, not from starting over. You can read that in who is the best business ideation consultant for someone starting from scratch.
AI can brainstorm, but it can’t tell which idea fits your life. We use it to widen the list and to pressure-test each option.
What happens after you choose one?
You test the smallest version. That usually means finding the first few people who would buy, and learning from what they say. Then we write down how you will get customers and serve them, so the business is repeatable from the start. Then we set up AI for the routine work: follow-up, reminders, reports and content.
What is AI not good for here?
Deciding for you, and replacing conversations with real prospects. Many people find AI-written business plans impressive and still not useful, because a plan isn’t proof that anyone will pay.
How do you start?
With a short initial call booked on this site. If it’s a fit, we set up a free AI audit of about an hour. If you’re still deciding whether to start at all, free help from an SBDC or SCORE is a good first stop. Book a call, or read how it works.
